From what Edwards said, he may want another go in this universe. So how do you think this will go over? Will we get a new Godzilla series and possibly new product licensed by Toho on their end? And what plots would/could be spawned from already restarting the series with Godzilla being (re)established?

Mothra is neither here nor there...I think Ghidorah could work perfectly fine.

You get people to accepted giant irradiated monster (dinosaur, lizard, what have you) that breathes a beam of radioactive fire, I think they can accept golden space dragon, and really, just about any of the fantastical elements of the Godzilla universe without too too much trouble.

If mainstream audiences can accept characters like Superman, Thor, etc. I don't think the concept of Mothra would be a problem. Or well, it shouldn't be, anyway.
