Oh they have one used! I actually might be willing to pay 200 for it too...though I got to say I have a habbit of buying something that's out of print for absurd prices only to find out a few weeks later that it is in face once again in print.....

On another note...would be nice to get a decent game out of this....

I hope that we get another wave of English Godzilla books. I really enjoyed some of the books Random House had. And yes, despite all the hate it receives, I enjoyed JD. Lee's G Compendium, and would like to see similar books (albeit more in the vein of Steve Ryfle's Japan's Favorite Mon-Star would be preferable) updated to include the millenium films. There is a huge void in English books that cover the Godzilla series beyond the Heisei series.

We've heard countless recounts about suit actors Haruo Nakajima, Ken Satsuma, Hurricane Ryu, etc. But there is rather scant English literature on suit actors Tsutomu Kitagawa, Mizuho Yoshida, Rie Ota, etc. We've read countless books that detail Tsuburaya, Nakano, and Koichi Kawakita exploits...what about Kenji Suzuki, Kiyotaka Taguchi, Makoto Kamiya, Eiichi Asada, etc? Same goes for directors, we've had many books which have discussed at length the filming experiences of Honda, Fukuda, Banno, Omori, Okawara in the Godzilla/daikaiju genre...what about Tezuka, Kaneko, and Kitamura? Same goes with film composers and so on...I hope a future English book(s) will fill this voidand covers the series post GvsDestroyer/GINO 98...please, NO MORE "CRITICAL ANALYSIS" books ala Kalat, Tsutsui, Brothers) ! :x So sick of those...

And let's not forget on the Japanese book front....PLEASE GIVE US  With the 6 Millenium G films, the Mothra Trilogy, and the upcoming 2012 film, there are*plenty* of new suits/props/mech/etc. to justify a volume 3 of this great series of books...

does atari still have the rights for godzilla videogames? or would a movie tie-in be licensed separately?

Yeah, via the now defunct Miramax.

I still haven't picked up all the region 1 dvds out there yet, but with this movie coming out I think I might settle for waiting a little longer and just getting the Blu-Rays.
