I knew that if there really were negotiations between Legendary and Toho, it would take a while, not immediately (remember when they said we would hear the news "by the end of the year" last year?).
I really, really hope that Legendary makes Godzilla more like Godzilla this time, and have faith in them, especially after seeing Where the Wild Things Are.
As for Yoshimitsu Banno executive producing, it boggles the mind, but I don't think Legendary would be using his Godzilla 3D to the Max story treatment (Toho will hopefully act as consultants over the character), and would more than likely start from scratch (and create a monster of their own, whether they use Deathla or not).
Other than that, I can't wait to see what Legendary has planned!
