The fact that a lot of people on other sites are making way too many comparisons to clover is starting to piss me off.

I mean yeah, they look vaguely similar, but they don't look nearly identical like people on other sites are claiming.

It reminds me very much of Gyaos in a way. Especially with the arms that sort of resemble the way a bat looks like someone above stated. Doesn't much resemble the "spider bug-thing" every one described from comic con. I'm not sure why, but I also kind see Irys a bit in it's head too.

It's an odd design, but I really like it! Can't wait to see what it's winged form looks like!

It's funny: in the trailer breakdown Edwards said the origami foreshadowed something ... and indeed, it's an origami monster!

Totally digging the MUTOS (but why can't people take GOOD close-up pictures of these things!?), makes me wonder what the 'winged' version is going to look like and how they're going to look/fight in the actual film...

The thing for me is that it looks so weird compared to Godzilla... Godzilla is super-detailed but the MUTO looks like an origami Evangelion Angel. It's just so jarring and certainly not something I expected from a movie like this. I'm eager to see how it looks in the film and how the execution comes out... but it will take a while for me to see this MUTO fitting in with this Godzilla. Again, it's just the juxtaposition of design choices. At least for now, I know this is just a toy, so I will have to wait and see what else comes out in time before I take this as the end-all-be-all of the design of one of the MUTOs.

Anyone catch the Q&A with Gareth?? Someone asks him if there is an after credits scene in the movie and he responds
"1:15 in"..now he probably means 1minute and 15 seconds after the credits start..
