I really can't say it enough...Considering that WB/LP went out of their way in the Press Release to say they are taking fans into account, all of this "If you expect the classic Godzilla you're setting yourself up for disappointment" stuff really doesn't hold much water for me.

Right now we have no idea what's going to happen. But one side of the camp seems to be saying "Don't expect anything and be happy with what you get" while the other side is saying "I expect a movie with the classic Godzilla". I will remain in the latter camp until I have reason not to be. And while I appreciate the concern, please enough with the "Disappointment" stuff. Ok, I got it. I appreciate your concern but I've heard it 1000x now.

Looking at all of the evidence, we have more reason to expect the classic Godzilla than a Hollywood version/GINO pt. 2. Now, does that mean we won't get a bad movie? Of course not. But it does mean we have a greater say in this than we did beforehand. So let's hold WB/LP accountable. That's our job as the fanbase.

I vote Godzilla gets released in mid-November, like the newer James Bond movies.
