I kinda hope they have commercials with Godzilla like, for Pastachio's saying "Godzilla does it atomicly". Or maybe a sneaker ad with Godzilla wanting shoes. Something funny. Get it?

"Godzilla is obviously the main antagonist. Recent news hinted at part of the film being set in 1954 “sequences of the film set in the year 1954 were shot using vintage lenses from the early 1960s in order to give the film a "distant period feel" said Seamus McGarvey who served as the film's cinematographer. It was also hinted by the director Gareth Edwards that he envisioned a Toho employee had seen Godzilla in real life, and that the 1954 film was made based on that sighting. To many, it would seem that in this film, the 1954 movie will be a reality or part of the plot. A recent toy reveal showed a good look at Godzilla, and confirmed his atomic breath. Godzilla also seems to have gills as seen in a few promotional pictures, which explains his ability to stay underwater for so many years."

I thought I read somewhere that Gareth Edwards was saying that the thought process for making the new Godzilla design was to be done as if this was the real one and the previous ones were based on this new one. I really hope the new movie does not reference the original movie as existing in history as a movie. I think doing so would in a way make the previous Godzilla movies subservient to this movie, something I can't believe Toho would allow. Furthermore, it would preclude any sequels having any of the other Toho monsters in them. I would imagine this would really irritate the fandom and, based on his track record, that would seem out of character for Gareth Edwards.

Well we do have our other kaiju, they should be interesting. Hmm..I wonder if we see much of MUTO the organization in the movie. If not, we could expand upon them later and maybe have a Monster Island for a sequel.

Reading this, I like to see it's one of the most anticipated movies of 2014 but then I read this:
