I'm trying not to see what isn't there and my guess is those insectoid legs in the air are adult Mothra on her back trying to right herself after getting the smackdown from KG.

Don't get me wrong, I would go apesh!t if they snuck in either some other Toho stars (not likely) or some Warner-licensed kaiju (Black Scorpion, etc.), but I'm just not gonna assume that and end up being disappointed.

Also looove seeing Godzilla ramp it up and power into battle and the nice shot of his eye... looks like they're going more human (round pupil) than the previous version. Overall... just all kinds of nerdgasm awesome sauce!!!

Looks fantastic...I can't wait. Loved this trailer even more than the first one. Everything just looks top notch...I really don't want to have to wait til May to see this.

So the breath and the kill were the big surprise pleaser moments in the first film.... could the red beam be the crowd pleaser in this one?

Some random thoughts after seeing this trailer for a number of times now.

Zhang Ziyi actually looked like Megumi Odaka from “Godzilla vs. Space Godzilla”.

That meteor that we see is probably Ghidrah coming down to Earth thousands of years ago.

In regards to Godzilla running towards Ghidrah, that could be someone’s thoughts we are seeing, perhaps Millie Bobby Brown’s. A dream scenario?

Many of have noticed that oil derelict, when that monster insect is emerging from the ground. Some have speculated that this could be taking place in the Middle East, since Monarch has a site there. I still think it is Mexico, and the creature is actually serving as food for Rodan (just like in the original).

So in your opinion, the uncompressed version of the trailer should be closer to what we will see in theaters. (Obviously depending on the theater.)

I didn't realize youtube compressed it to the point where it looks like ass that much. That is laughable difference in quality.

Boy that picture really is making me itch to watch that trailer. I downloaded it just in case the world is about to end so I can watch it on my big screen. (i know that sounds stupid) I still haven't looked at the first one. I just keep telling myself it will pay off in the end.

Absolutely stoked for this. Rodan, Mothra, and everyone looks great. I suspected Kumonga and Angilas in the trailer as well, but the legs, upon further viewing, look more crustacean.
