well between the spoilers and the less than civil conversation i think its time for me to avoid this section of the forums again until the movie is released. I'll be in toys muttering to myself if anyone needs me.

My theory: Godzilla is a mutation created by radiation, he's been appearing sporadically in remote locations for decades but his existence has been kept a secret, M.U.T.O. has been experimenting with Godzilla DNA (medical purposes? Creating weapons?) which creates monsters that begin to escape, Godzilla is drawn by the other monsters to populated areas for the first time.
