People are complaining about David Goyer being the writer? Really? He's a great writer. Dark City, Batman Begins, TDK, and the first 2 Blade movies are among the best of their respective genres. He's become one of Chris Nolan's go to guys for writing genre scripts (hence his gig doing the new Superman as well), and Nolan is pretty picky about those things. Not to mention he's done TONS of uncredited script polishes that greatly improved the final products. Also, much of his Magneto script was used for X-Men First Class. He's more than credible. This is a MAJOR step up and in the right direction if you ask me.
Its funny because I used Goyer as an example earlier of a great writer who has had much of his work ruined due to studio interference (hence Blade 3). But he already has a great relationship with LP (with Batman and Superman), so they'll probably leave him to his own devices here.
