not to continue the whole hate bandwagon but yeah pretty much what you guys said, plenty of users here i notice are from tk, mostly because tk is a plague that members want to get away from. Not to mention they cast out Snowdenzilla and the mods banned him because of the leaked script, just to come crawling back to snowdenzilla on scifijapan for the leaked script, they even made a seperate thread for it lol

I'm a member of tk and I just want to say I kinda think of the tk and sj as brother sites. They both have our faults and I also wonder why this forum isn't more active.

In fact, rivalry with other sites (kinda specifically TK) is strongly discouraged and I believe against the forum guidelines as it's considered flaming.

That said, given everything I've heard about what it's like over there, I'm glad I've never ventured over.

Hello, everyone.

Just to clear up any misconceptions before they become problems, there is no rivalry between SciFi Japan/MZ and Toho Kingdom. I post on their forums and have been friends with Anthony Romero and some of the mods there for years. TK members are welcome here as long as they follow MZ board rules, same as anybody else.

If anyone recognizes a new member here as someone who was banned or caused problems on TK (or anywhere else), the best thing to do is let the Admins know so we can keep an eye on things. Calling each other names, getting into flame wars or disrupting the boards is not the way to go so don't go there. It's important to keep in mind that we're here talking about Japanese monster movies; that should be fun and informative, not something to get bent out of shape about.

And for the record, I have nothing against Snorkel Kingdom, but I don't think there's any denying that the atmosphere they cultivate is less desirable than the one found here. I'm glad to see the discussion of the leaked script bringing in familiar faces from that forum. It's refreshing to be able to converse with you all like real people.

Bizarro forum or not, it's probably the most complete and all encompassing fan site I've ever seen. The devotion to toho movies in general has a slavishness that you simply do not see in most independent fan sites. I fondly remember visiting the site in it's earliest incarnation, hosted on a "students.bucknellcollege" server if I recall correctly.

Anyhow, back to the topic at hand.

His post made it seem as if he was comparing two pictures.

Here is the description:

The "Winged MUTO Monster is described as having two legs and wings. Looks a bit like a moth. The head in particular was somewhere between a moth and a fly in appearance. The creature had claws like the classic Godzilla monster Gigan (meaning hooks).

This matches with my script 100%. The male muto loses his four back hind legs and grows wings instead. The bone headed military somehow mistakes it's chryslalis for a corpse post airport scene.
