You know, I just realized that when Godzilla is staring at the camera head on, he looks like my dog Samson. I mean Sam is a 140. 6'2' tall Great Pyrenees but he's got a broad head, narrowed, blocky snout and looks just as defiant as Godzilla.....

I don't know why it escaped me this long. Now if only Samson had atomic breath.....

Not too worried. Like I said on TK, there hasn't been a summer blockbuster that I can remember that hasn't had some issues with crappy dialogue or hammy/bad acting.

Meh, I hope its not bad enough to distract me in the film. I can usually look over some wooden dialogue/bad acting if the suspense and story can overtake it which it sounds like they are. Keeping my fingers crossed...

Sure, it's a good action movie, but it's tiresome that Marvel's legions of shills and fanboys can honestly claim that TWS and the Avengers are, like, the pinnacle of cinema, and not get laughed out of the conversation.

According to Legendary's Facebook, it is now officially the beginning of Godzilla Week.

Apparently, tons of new videos will be released over the course of these last few days.

Well we just picked up our tickets for next Thursday's showing at the Alamo Drafthouse. It will be the first time we are seeing a brand new movie on opening day there, so that should be interesting.
