James Cameron being the perfectionist that he is (which is odd, because his films are nothing close to perfect), probably wont ever do any Avatar sequels honestly. I know he has this whole grandiose plan for several planets, and alien species, and filming multiple sequels all at the same time, or whatever... But honestly, his mission to prove the first one was not just a "fluke" may drive him not to make them at all. Truth be told, --I did not see the film until mid February (after a late December release). And honestly, it was just *meh* to me, and I haven't seen it again since. How it made 2.7 B world-wide is beyond my ability to explain.
I think sometimes people get a little too hung up on release dates several years out. I think part of the reason is obviously because of the Internet. Remember the good old days when we didn't know a movie was coming out until it actually started filming? -And in some cases, not even then, it wasn't until we actually saw a trailer that we knew a movie was being released. -If a movie is not actually filming, release dates are always subject to change, and even when a movie is filming, it can change. I'll be ready for Godzilla 2 Whenever it happens.
There are no more good TV Shows, only ones that haven't disappointed me yet.
