Comparing the movie to Jaws, Aliens, and Jurassic Park is pretty amazing.

Do we really want Pacific Rim again? Let's all calm down. I think we're all getting a classic Monster movie...well all be losing our minds by the end of the film and wanting more. Which is goooood.

"There's not much Godzilla" is a good, temper expectations spoiler.

I think we're all forgetting about the Wondercon footage. That five minutes had a ton of really good action. However, we didn't see a whole lot of the monsters. They were featured prominently, but we never got a full body shot of either monster until the end of the footage.

Maybe we're just misinterpreting what these people are saying.
