Meh the Japanese fans can go pound sand for all I care. This movie is going to kick butt. And as to the Rodan allegations...

Casuals or people who aren't fans is one thing...

Like... what I don't get is how can any Godzilla fan, someone who knows the series, think Mothra or Rodan for that matter, appear in this movie, when those two characters have quite a rich history in Toho's menagerie and would need an entire movie's subplot to establish them.

So....did you guys see that new trailer? Totes getting Radon in this movie. Yeah, Radon, because that's the official way to say it, so says Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla II. II? I didn't even know there was a part one. It must be amazing because II is the best movie ever! In part 1 do they build that thing that's at the very beginning of the film? It doesn't look like Mechagodzilla but it looks badass. Godzilla. Baby Godzilla is cool, I bet he's the same baby Godzilla as in Son of Godzilla but he just looks different because those old movies are lame. Did you guys know there are old Godzilla movies? I can't find any of them anywhere, I never even heard of some of them. I mean, Monster Zero? What's that? A giant monster made out of zeroes? I really like Godzilla vs. Hedorah but I never even heard of this Godzilla vs. the Smog Monster movie. I'm super excite to see both on one disc here! What's all this talk about Bagan? He looks awesome, what film was he in? Anyway, RADON! I'm such excitement!

Soooooo guys.

I heard this movie is actually Ghidrah, the Three-Headed Monster and Rodan and Mothra show up!!

Guys?

Guys?

Anyone?

And Godzilla is fat!

And missiles kill him!

And a cameo was cut so this movie will suck!

I think that encompasses some of the idiotic statements about this movie (so far).

A lot of people think the Godzilla from the end of Destroyer is Godzilla Jr but how can that be? He look totally different and he roar is like the big Godzilla, but the new Godzilla no has glowing chest so I'm think that at the end of Destroyer Godzilla gaves off his energy and now he's fine and looking for revenge. Think about it Godzilla Jr is died and we see that how could it be him? What do you guys thinks?

Godzilla vs. Rodan is real, you guys.

I blame the previous three or four pages for what's happened here tonight. That and the anticipation for the 16th. More nuttiness in here than in a bathhouse for squirrels who make Skippy peanut butter.

I mean, I'm sure a lot of the people posting this stuff are, like, so young that they weren't even born when GINO came out. You can't really blame them for being dumb. :P

Is anyone else a little worried that they're SO excited for this movie, that it might end up being disappointing?? Not saying that it won't be awesome, but that some of us might be overhyping ourselves up. As the movie gets closer, I just keep thinking about my experience with Pacific Rim. While i enjoyed the film, I found myself ultimately disappointed, as I expected more. It also doesn't help that all the positive critic reviews of Spider-Man on rotten tomatoes has fallen from around 85% to now 60% over the past few weeks...

That review, I only read what was quoted, and it sounds AWESOME!! But I'm trying to not get ahead of myself, as I assume that was a big Godzilla fan, so there may be some bias there.

I see where you're coming from, but at the same time, it's been so long since we've had a Godzilla movie, even longer since we've had a GOOD Godzilla movie, and we've never had a good, big-budget Hollywood movie. Even if the movie isn't perfect, I still expect to be blown away.
