^ Agreed. Not all that crazy about the huge lower jaw (reminds me of Godzilla crossed with Bluto. LOL) but at least with this sculpt this head is in proportion with the rest of the body... not like a bobcat head grafted on a tiger's body.

I also like the bold dorsal plates.
With the '14 design it felt like they were minimized or downplayed, like the designer(s) couldn't find a legitimate or physically believable explanation for why they would be there. '19 tried to be hip with stupid tribal / tattoo etchings carved/embedded on/in them.

However, this SDCC '13 maquette just says "Hey! Check out these massive, gnarly, in-your-face Millennium-flavored Godzilla spines!!!"
