Do we really a new thread for this? I mean we've always been encourage to post everything to one 400+ page thread.

All general discussion about a single film works well as one thread so you don't have a zillion threads about the same topic. But I think that coverage/discussion of specific events like premieres warrant their own thread so people can find that info without have to hunt through 400+ pages of a single thread.
