‘Star Wars Resistance’
Posted: Fri Aug 31, 2018 4:35 pmThe animation looks awful, I was surprised Filoni had anything at all to do with it. I saw the trailer a while back, but didn't care enough to post anything about it. I have to say, this does not look anything as good as CW or rebels, but I'll give it a fair shot. Just not sure why they chose cell shading (or whatever this style is called now) vs full CG rendering. I'm just not a fan of it. I hated it in Transformers: Robots in Disguise, and I don't like the look of it here either.
The *Robotech* part is interesting, but we've seen characters sacrifice themselves in the previous series. if anything resistance seems a step more in a *kid friendly* direciton than the other ones. Is it only 11 minute segments (like so many other series are going to), or still full 22 minute episodes? I'm still way more excited for the return of CW, once I can watch it somehow independent of Disney's steaming service.
