What happens when you take Thundaar the Barbarian, He-Man, and every other sword & sorcery cliché' character, then put them through Hanna-Barbera's "kid friendly" filtration system? You get=

Although the show may not have been as spectacular as some of its predecessors, it was still one I had on my DVD wish list for a long time, and looks like WB is finally serving it up, the manner I figured they would, next week:

Oh and they are also finally releasing the 2nd season of the "Real" Adventures of Jonny Quest from the 90's on the same day, so hardcore JQ enthusiasts can finally complete their collection as this is the last JQ related item left to be released.

As a kid whenever Galtar & the Golden Lance was on, I made sure to watch it, nice to see it's finally getting a home video release.

There's a lot of good story building blocks in HB's short series that Warner Brothers could build a movie from, perhaps if the Masters of the Universe movie really gets going over at Sony.

Agreed. Seeing as how WB is constantly releasing NEW direct-to-DVD movies based on their HB & MGM properties. I would absolutely love to see an animated film that finished the story of Pirates of Darkwater, I'd take an animated film over a live action movie, as it seems more feasible.
