Yup, according to the staff he did very little work on the story and direction side of things so there shouldn't be that noticeable a change in season 2. They'll have to find a new actor for Clarence's voice, however.
Anyway, I think CN's current slate is pretty strong: Adventure Time is still awesome, Steven Universe is amazing, Clarence is great, Gumball and Regular Show are still pretty good... only Uncle Grandpa does nothing for me (apparently it's quite popular with the kids).
Stopped watching Regular Show for a year or two, too repetitive, glad to see Mordecai is dating C.J. now, a far superior character to Margaret.

This does not bode well for the new Transformers series.
Ben10 Omniverse, a long running franchise, and this particularly series did consistently great in the TV ratings on Saturdays. It was the highest ranked show in its time slot whenever it was on.
Now? It's remaining 35 episodes are being burned off for the next two months at the death slot of 6AM.
THIS IS ONE OF THEIR OWN CHILDREN.
I doubt something like Transformers will be treated any better.

^It's got the strongest lineup of new shows it's probably ever had, probably since the late '90s when Dexter's Laboratory, Powerpuff Girls, and Space Ghost Coast to Coast were all running new episodes.
Adventure Time and Steven Universe are the two best shows they've ever aired (and I grew up devoted to Dexter and SGC2C), and Clarence, Regular Show, and Gumball are quite good.

Hmmm... Transformers goes to Cartoon Network and (judging by their absence) the new Scooby Doo and Looney Tunes shows will go to Boomerang. Maybe my theory that Boomerang is becoming the home for WB's animation is right!
Adventure Time mini sound great; Steven Universe/Uncle Grandpa crossover is... weird, but as a big SU fan I'll watch; Regular Show movie is very interesting, I kinda stopped watching two years ago and have just been getting back into it this season; and look! Another original animated miniseries like Over the Garden Wall!

^They're doing really well! Like, other kids channels are stumbling a bit at the moment and CN is growing. I think they think they have some sort of winning formula, and I can't really think of an angle to disagree with 'em.

Indeed, pleasantly surprised with We Bare Bears, haven't figured out the title though. Although, every time I see a commercial for the show I can't help but think of Help!... It's the Hare Bear Bunch! (although the Hare Bear Bunch is more like a zoo version of Hogan's Heroes)

CN died to me a long time ago. Like Sci-Fi (who changed their name to Syfy) CN should just change the spelling of their name to Cartuun Netwurk to match the idiocy of the programming they show.

^I think Cartoon Network has it's strongest lineup of shows since the late '90s, early '00s. Of course, I'll always have fond memories of being a kid and the network consisting of almost entirely reruns punctuated by the occasional new show (SGC2C, The What a Cartoon Show, ect.), but it seems all of cable has shifted away from classic reruns
