I watched Spongebob the day it aired and I'm still watching it today. Many people say anything related to new Spongebob sucks, But i extremely disagree with them. in my opinion only seasons 6 & 7 are bad.
BTW My favorite episode is Chocolate With Nuts.

I remember seeing it on TV at like 3 AM or something JUST before it got popular. I've always kind of peripherally enjoyed Spongebob and I'm familiar with a few episodes, but never actively watched.

I've never actively watched Spongebob, but when it's been on TV while my niece is watching or if I happened to have it on the TV for any other reason I have definitely enjoyed it. I saw the movie as well. I can definitely understand the people who find it obnoxious though. My wife hates Spongebob.
