Pow! Loved this week of episodes. I remember a while back wanting a return to Beach City and its citizens after a long spate of space/Gem/lore heavy episodes, and now the alternative was true: I loved getting back into the space opera aspects of Steven Universe!

From geodesic domes to cracks in the sidewalk, the show's wildly creative backdrops teach a valuable lesson: that enchantment and imperfection can exist side by side.

This past Monday, Cartoon Network sort of surprised everyone and ran two new episodes of Steven Universe. Without spoiling anything, in these two episodes viewers finally get to see the moment when Rose Quartz shatters Pink Diamond. Anyone watching the show will want to see these two episodes.

The episodes are "Can't Go Back" (part 1) and "A Single Pale Rose" (part 2)

Uggghhh, they're not on On Demand yet. I've caught up on every episode up to those last three and I wish I hadn't been spoiled but... I was.

I'm still not sure if this is the last season or not? The scheduling is so random and spread out that if there's only a dozen episodes left that could still cover the entire rest of this year. I'd assume if it was near the end that they'd at least promote it as such, as they are with Adventure Time.
