How is this even a contest? '60s all the way.

I know I'm not alone in REALLY loving Kieta Amemiya's work. His visuals are amazing and that alone was almost enough for me to go and vote for 2000 and beyond. But the 60's were the Golden Age, and the amazing visuals created by the collaborations of Ishiro Honda and Eiji Tsuburaya as well as less prominent (but not necessarily less talented) artists are among the primary reasons why.

So it's 60's all the way. 8-)

I have to choose the '60s because the rich colors and the creativity in effects with limited resources. Even as a child I recognized this and sought after the camera used in that era because the visuals were so grand like colors in a dream.
