Well it's in 1080p quality, so I had to watch it!

That was another great short! Some really cool shots, great choreography, and the rebuilt Showa Gigan suit looks spectacular. Just great, great fun.

Now to hopefully watch it again whenever Toho decides to put it up!

Delightful! Having just watched both short films I'm wondering which one I prefer. The CGI short had more ambitious visual ideas, and I loved things like how the buildings looked when they were split into pieces, but overall I have to say the charm of the traditional tokusatsu plus the characterization of Gigan (he's a jerk!) puts that one on top.

Aaaaaand Toho gon' Toho. I guess they just don't want this one to go online, but they're cool with Gigan Rex staying up? Makes no damn sense.

This is a blast! That retro Gigan suit looks really impressive in action and the GFW Godzilla suit looks better than it did in the Hedorah short. Those old-fashioned miniatures are a sight for sore eyes!
