This is Regal's page for Shin Godzilla. Does anyone know how to get that Fandango map of theirs to just display all of their theater locations that are playing the movie? It's annoying how it asks for a specific city or ZIP code and if it's not playing arbitrarily near the location you input then it just displays no results.

That's cool they're adding screenings due to popular demand. I know it's unlikely, but how cool would it be if North America had a mini version of the runaway success this film has seen in Japan? Like, they add an extra week of shows or extra shows per day due to the popular demand. That would be really awesome.

I heard some places had early screenings of the movie. I saw reviews of it. Has anyone who saw it in Japan, also see the American screening? There were rumors of Toho continuing to work on the CGI after release for Blu-Ray and international markets. I wonder if that's true?

Toho polishing effects for a Godzilla movie after release would be unprecedented, no? I mean so is this movie making $70 million dollars. I dunno, I doubt Toho would be willing to spend the cash but who knows.

Hell yeah! I thought I was going to have to drive two hours to see Shin Godzilla but now two theaters in Asheville have just booked it, the Carmike 14 and the Regal Biltmore Grande 15, playing on a total of four days between the two of them. Asheville is less than an hour away from me so I might just take all four chances to see this on the big screen!


EDIT:
Apparently Google was displaying the showtimes for a different Carmike theater located in Spartanburg, South Carolina. The Carmike in Asheville, North Carolina has only 10 screens and it won't be playing Shin Godzilla. The Regal Biltmore Grande 15 is the only theater in Asheville that has Shin Godzilla with one showing per evening from Tuesday the 11th through Thursday the 13th.
