Anything that anyone that isn't me DOES want to see...even if those things are exactly what I want to see, I will immediately un-want them

I don't want to see a new monster. Godzilla has a great rogues gallery. Have him fight a classic monster, preferably Rodan or Anguirus, or a less-seen foe like Hedorah, Varan, Manda or Ebirah. Save King Ghidorah for the second movie and have Gigan and Mechagodzilla in the third.

In all honestly, I would prefer NOT having Mothra or King Ghidorah in the film. I love both of them, but we've seen them several times in just the millennium series alone. A new monster would awesome, but I would still be happy with revamp of one or more of the classic kaiju.

I'm probably all alone on this, but I don't want any long, extended military roll-out/buildup scenes. Such scenes always stop the action dead, with little effect on the overall outcome of the plot. Perhaps if the script actually developed any compelling military characters, they'd be acceptable, but as they are, it's just a lot screen time for stuff that Godzilla will stomp in thirty seconds.

1.) Godzilla on his own.
2.) If he HAS to fight another monster, preferably one somewhat realistic. Like Angillas, Baragon, Varan or some other dinosaur-like monster. No Hedorah or Gigan.
3.) Godzilla as the bad guy.
And I really don't mind if Godzilla isn't on-screen all that much, provided his presence is felt. Does that make sense? Hannibal Lecter and The Joker weren't in their respective movies all that much but their presence still permeated throughout the picture.
I'd rather leave the movie wanting to see more Godzilla (I smell sequel!) then leave the movie tired of him.

I definitely DON'T want to see...
Godzilla made more "realistic" in any way; no alligator skin, do dinosaur stance, no T-Rex jaw and no iguana-like flap of skin on his throat. New flares on the design are okay, as long as they don't try to serve the above purpose.
No absence of traditional-style FX. In this day and age, that might be asking for a lot, but hell, even GINO used props in suits to complement the CGI.
No toilet humor. No humping dogs. No robot testicles.

Shakey Cam. This technique has been abused to no end over the last several years.
