You think the labeling of one self as a ''otaku'' is bad when it comes to Japanese films and animation? Jeez, look at the video game genre. Look at Final Fantasy VII for a perfect example!

To be fair, I DID at one point believe Tokusatu was just the likes of Ultraman but then it hit me most of these movies AND ESPECIALLY Godzilla, are all part of that same basic genre. Which makes me wonder why so many rag on Ultraman, Gamera and any other non-Toho/Godzilla kaiju at times. It's just amusing 'cuz the concept of a Ultraman and giant turtle isn't any more laughable than a oversized dinosaur spawned by nuclear testing, and many hail that as the most drop-dead serious thing to come out of the Japanese Sci-Fi genre.

I love when things go beyond control.

And yes, I know that Godzilla is a Tokusatsu, I should had known better once I remember that my election of name title and theme had this obvious mistake ("all are going to crucify me for this sin") and came to late to rectify it, I was in a hurry, what really surprise me is the number of post, to be honest I didn't expect that they were going to be more than 10 response, any really talking about how a Godzilla TV show could be (well, except Xenorama) oh, well, my mystake, Good night, everybody.
