Yeah, that's a bit better.
But one thing I'm tired of is "military vs monsters" films. Scratch that. I'm sick of them, period. They did too many of these in the Millennium films. I want to see films more like Mothra vs Godzilla and Ghidrah, the Three-Headed Monster, where we watch how normal people with normal lives deal with the monsters. Yes, I know there was a lot of military stuff in Mothra vs Godzilla, but they weren't our main characters.
And I think the anti-hero idea for Godzilla is the best bet. Don't make him evil and don't make him a goodie goodie. But this way Godzilla can alternate between being a good guy and a bad guy. I think a new series should take the Showa films as it's template. Build a universe out of it and for the love of God don't kill off the enemy monsters in every film. Let some of them stick around so it's possible to build up a roster of characters. And don't overpower Godzilla. It adds some drama to the battles if your not sure what the outcome is going to be, which is one thing the Heisei series got right.
And respect King Ghidora for the crying out loud. Do something great with him. He deserves it.
