I agree, I am a big fan of good CGI, but there are some fundimental things that would need to happen for a G movie to look right. I have also posted a proposal using the same type of feel the Always movie uses. Do a 3 act movie moving forward from the 60's with the same cinematic feel of the Mothra movie, then the 80's and 90's with each having that distinct era feel. CGI and good settings can make that happen.

As for Godzilla, he needs to, in general, move like Godzilla with added flexability and expression. Don't need to seem him jumping or doing the 100 meter dash, I need good slow deliberate movements to emphasize size.

As for this design, I like most of it, but would like to see the snout stretch out a bit longer as the snout does show strength, it's just a bit too boxy....kind of the opposite of GFW.

I kinda like the boxiness....its differernt and it feels big just looking at it, but I see where your coming from. My nit-pick and its something the next Godzilla design needs to have is a crocodilian type tail...godzilla is a sea monster....swiming with that turd looking tail would be difficult.
