Japanese distrib earns $817.5 million

I'd prefer Godzilla movies that resemble the 1960s films, which struck a great balance and were made by incredibly talented people.

Look at last year's movies (my two favs) Hellboy 2 and Wall*E, they were whimsical and fun for kids and yet their were layers to them that could only be appreciated by older folks - similar to how you watch, say, Mothra vs. Godzilla and pick up on some of the humanist stuff you didn't get as a kid.
