Bagan was an interesting concept when I first heard about him, but not because he's an amazingly cool character...because he's not. The only reason Bagan was intriguing is because he's a lost idea.

However, years later, after I've seen the baseless devotion to him from so many people, the very name "Bagan" has come to irritate me.

I never want to see Bagan in any form of entertainment media again. Ever.

Let it die.

A new design and a new origin might be decent. As long as he's not loaded with sparkly attacks or armor out the wazoo.

Umm..ya know old Bagan designs look like a combination of Rhinosaurus from the GINO series and Destroyah. Perhaps these kaiju were inspired by Bagan.

I liked Bagan a lot. I'd like to see him as a Godzilla foe in a film. He has potential.

I was okay with Bagan's energy attacks from the Super Godzilla video game, but if done today, any physical attacks between the two monsters would be much improved over Kawakita's 90s work (as evident with Kaneko, Tezuka, and yes, even Kitamura).

But then, I also thought it was really cool to see Godzilla "henshin" into Super Godzilla. Imagine the merchandising possibilities!
