Godzilla storylines..

This is an idea for a Godzilla script I've been thinking about for a while:

It starts in 2014. Godzilla has been hybernating within the heart of Mt. Mihara for 30 years, surrounded by military forces from Japan and America. In the decades since Godzilla was imprisoned within the volcano, other monsters have been spawned from either pollution or nuclear testing (including Mothra and Rodan, mentioned but not seen). Mount Mihara erupts, releasing Godzilla. He easily defeats the military and makes a beeline for Japan.
Japan, in the meantime, has been dealing with a new monster, a gigantic scorpion mutated by chemical waste. The beast destroys Osaka and heads into the Japanese wilderness.
Godzilla arrives and begins to attack Japan. The scorpion monster senses Godzilla and moves to intercept. They both meet and do battle, but the scorpion is a much more vicious and powerful fighter than anyone, including Godzilla, anticipated. The scorpions' pincers rip off Godzillas' hand, and the stinger tail injects Godzilla with a potent venom that renders Godzillas' recuperative and regenerative qualities inoperable. The scorpion moves off, leaving Godzilla dying.
Enter our heroes, a team of specialized scientific and military personnel. They begin to study Godzilla, realizing they will need Godzillas' help to defeat the scorpion. Working around the clock, they succeed in developing a working anti-venom and inject it into Godzilla. Godzillas' regenerative systems begin to repair his injuries, regrowing his hand.
Meanwhile, the scorpion is laying waste to Tokyo and the military forces sent to defend it. The army is decimated by the scorpions assault, and the city is almost completely destroyed. The scorpion roars in triumph.
Thundering footsteps are heard. From behind Mt. Fuji, Godzilla appears. He charges the scorpion and defeats him after a tremendous battle. Godzilla then heads out to sea. Once again active and reestablished as a dangerous threat.

Now all I need is a name for the scorpion monster.

Make the scorpion into some more twisted and surreal arthropod I'd be happy. A giant bug beating Gojira makes me feel strange.

I know I'm probably the only one, and I realize the chance of it actually happening is like non-existant, but I want a direct sequel to TOMG, bringing back Showa MG for a third, and last, time.

I just think it'd be cool to have Showa MG return, it'd make for a nice change from his smooth, shiny, modern "updated to look 'cool' but quite unable to kick ass like their predecessor" counterparts.

As for more original ideas, I'd like to see a very different take on Godzilla. Perhaps a fantasy story set in the medieval ages, where Godzilla's a legendary dragon or something.

Maybe a storyline in which Godzilla is portrayed as a human turned monster through magic/mutation, a demon, or even a fallen angel. Just something different.
