Godzilla Resurgence (2016)

I like it! I love the mushroom cloud head. I've always loved that concept and am happy to see them take it and run with it and it turn out looking so cool, but still very recognizably Godzilla. I also love this idea they're apparently going for with the brutally scarred and tragic looking, yet utterly terrifying beast. He looks downright gruesome. If I had one complaint it's that they maybe went a little too far with the exposed muscle. It's not a bad idea but there's just too much of it imo. But I really love

Also, is anyone else just eating up the fact that we're getting both the loveable anti-hero Godzilla from Legendary and the nightmarish horror Godzilla from Toho almost simultaneously? It's the best of both worlds!

I think I love the idea of this, but not the execution. If you look at a movie like The Host (Gwoemul), it does the cancerous mutation beast-thing perfectly.

This Godzilla looks creepy. The more pics I see, the more creepy it looks. I think Godzilla 2014 does a better job of capturing Godzilla actually, but for the tone of this movie, I think it will work.

I think its safe to say Godzilla will not fight another monster in this movie uh?

I'm indifferent to the new Godzilla design on one hand I like the head but the body seems small compared to the rest of the design. The neck is WAY too long I think we're going to be calling this Giraffezilla. The "scars" on the body do look cool.

Just looking at the images of Godzilla, I'm iffy on the design. However taking into account the tidbits of information, speculation, and rumors has me interested in the story they want to tell with the movie.

Right now, I'm content to wait for more information. Besides the whole "movie magic" process that needs to happen, I'd like to see clips of this Godzilla in action.

I can see mist or steam seeping out of his neck when he uses his atomic breath, similar to what happens at the end of GMK.

When they post to August's twitter he doesn't quite come out and say "that website made it up." Can anybody clarify this?
