Also on the upside, if this movie's running time is expanded and it gets a widescale theatrical release (since a whole lot of theaters do IMAX and/or 3D now) people will have to accept it as a legitimate entry in the series!!!!!!!!!

I find that this article sheds a good deal of light on the difference between what this film would be, and what today's frequent "IMAX" screenings essentially are. That being said, the public is clearly unable to differentiate so my original point still stands.
