Toho should try to emulate films like The Host, Pan's Labyrinth, and Let the Right One In: quality foreign genre films can have worldwide success.

Anyways, I'm not really sure on an exact storyline, but I, personally, want to see an extremely dark and horrific film. I think it's time to, at least, do a trilogy where the movies are dark and brutal. Granted, it won't be as fun to the kids (and quite frankly, the way I envision it, it won't be appropriate for them anyways), but I think it's a way to bring some more respect to the character, but, mainly, to make a really dark and brutal film similar to the original only much darker.

As for a Godzilla design, I wish I could track down a sketch done by either Bob Eggleton or some other great artist who drew Godzilla very similar to his Heisei incarnation, but with his legs and tail more like that to a biped carnivorous dinosaur. Anyone know what I'm getting at?

Anyways, here is a picture that is similar to the direction I would go with Godzilla...
