So what would a Godzilla tv show in 2014 even be about? I mean every idea was pretty much used in the previous Godzilla tv shows and kovies. Plus in the 1999 Godzilla: The Animated Series with Zilla Junior, they just cpied Monster Island. There are no more original ideas!

Make Godzilla into a musical. They turned King Kong into a musical that is currently playing in Australia and which is eventually coming to the U.S.

I am sure some of you more clever song writers here can compose something and then submit it to Toho! :lol:

A Godzilla Tokusatsu TV series could work. Hell, an anime would work. And only old grumpy codgers think they won't.

It all goes down to style. I think something akin to the Millenium designs would work. Or a CGI cartoon based off this years movie. Who knows.

But a full fledged movie series from Toho?

Never ever.

Metal Heroes have a better chance of coming back as full fledged TV franchise than Godzilla does returning to the silverscreen via Toho studios. Hell, the former got more TV, magazine coverage, and movies in the last two years than Godzilla has in 10. And it's still a long shot.

I dunno man, I just can't take the NEVER EVER approach.

Maybe never again in my lifetime, but never EVER??? I just don't think so. If three terrible movies can't kill Star Wars and James Bond can keep coming back, I believe Godzilla will one day appear at Toho again...

pretty sure i was among those saying there'd be no way we'd get a Hollywood Godzilla film...at least anytime soon. I was wrong.
