Well, Toho typically has to approve everything. They approved the design of GINO... something I'm sure they wouldn't do again.

I would LOVE that design if that was right before he was about to unleash his nuke breath. Light gray/blue dorsal spines the rest of the time, then heat up (from the inside) and the iris area of his eyes clouds (fades under the growing brightness) and then - BANG! - he lays waste to whatever opponent he's battling. )I agree that he could use a few more cheeseburgers in his diet, too. LOL)

When I first joined this board (like a decade ago) I remember having discussions on whether or not Godzilla should ever be CGI,and I was strongly in the "no" camp. A lot has changed since then,though,and now we're seen Cloverfield,Hulk (Ed Norton one),Transformers 1&2,Clash of the titans,and other movies where CGI characters were done really well. I remember when I was watching TF2 during the forest battle scene thinking I'd love to see these animators do Godzilla Vs. Gigan.

That said,he's got to at least resemble the Toho Godzilla. Also,and I can't believe I even have to say this,but ideally Godzilla would not be pregnant in the movie. Jesus Christ I hate that movie.
