Can someone tell me how to insert an image during a post?

When you post a comment, there's a row of buttons above the comment box. B for Bold, i for italics, etc, etc. Highlight your image url and press the Img button.

imgur.com is my favorite image hosting service. I highly recommend it! You can drag and drop your files on to the actual page.
