Monster Zero x SciFi Japan - Archive Only

Yeah, this probably might be in the wrong section, but whatever.

Does the main SFJ site still need to say when you first get to it "the new home of monster zero news"? That probably should have been removed 3 years ago.

Also, It's super annoying to have to click through that just to get to the articles. It seems the "enter" stuff is so old web design. I just want to get to the meat of the website.

Believe it or not some of us fans are still so old school we might revisit a site after 10 years. I still call numbers in my cell phone from years ago because I haven't updated them only to get yelled at by the new holder. I wish mark's godzilla page was still around but because the last movie was a decade ago it might help someone the way it is I suppose.

Monster Zero News was a website created by Aaron J. Smith. The site (of which this forum used to belong to) was one of the pioneering websites that brought Kaiju news to the world. Unfortunately, Aaron fell extremely ill, and passed on back in 2006. Monster Zero News fell off the charts in terms of updates and pretty soon the website itself went down. SciFi Japan took the name and kept this forum alive under its own name. Any tribute you see for Monster Zero News is to serve as a memory for Aaron J. Smith.

I understand that. but I think it's time to move on... have a nice little tribute on the main site... maybe instead of the ads it could say "in memory of Aaron Smith" or something.

It means a lot to many of us here.

I don't want to poke the tiger, but how about changing it to 'HOME OF THE MONSTER ZERO FORUMS!'. It's a good way to continue honoring Aaron's legacy and promote the Forums.
