If the board software supports such a thing, that'd be a great thing to take advantage of. Kaijuphile used to have one as a branch of the forums, prior to the last upgrade. It saw a fair bit of use in its prime. In any case, I think it'd be worth setting up one for us here, by some means or other. We might at least vet a few ideas.

A chatroom is definitely possible, but I don't think it'd be a good idea, personally. It's going to detract from the actual thread discussions.

The only thing I'd really like to have it for would be to maybe do live talkbacks/commentaries with one another on occasion with various movies as they hit home video or whatnot.

As a regular thing, this place doesn't seem to have enough traffic to support a chat, honestly. I'm not OPPOSED to one, though.

I like the chatroom idea if it were feasible. As Bruticus said, we used the Kaijuphile chatroom on a few occasions.

Chat room is a good idea. Godzilla chat rooms used to have regular use in the early 90s. Maybe just for special events like the May 16 or the day a new Blu Ray is released.
