.....Feathered. DEAL WITH IT! He looks good with feathers.

I've been mostly Kiryuu, some Godzilla, some King Ghidorah, one Manda and one Titanosaurus, some Biollante...but never have I drawing Rodan.

Heehee...you guys are gonna slaughter me for this, but it's worth it.



Like King Ghidorah, I gave Rodan an enormous wing span. Also, I did a drawing of him when viewed from the ground. With some of my notations to explain the various parts and functions of Rodan's wings and why I made them so huge.

I have to say...I love it. That wingspan is terrifyingly awesome. Could have done without the white "beard" feathers, but I suppose they give him character.

Definately an improvement over the last stuff you posted (remember, when I accidentally pissed you off? ). I think you had just gotten lazy .

Anyway, the shading seems a little off in some places but I just can't put my finger on how... I'll check back later if I figure it out.

His anatomy seems kinda odd... those legs seem really too short, but I'm assuming your version won't be on the ground much... even so it just looks strange. The positioning on the arms is funky too... hrm... Necks a tad long I think too...

Even though, it's still really good and definately an improvement!

Second: Biased Personal Opinion:

Ewwwwwww!!! Not liking this 'Dan design at all >.0 (remember, all IMHO only) Feathers just look... odd... though I think they'd all look better w/o that "beard". Legs too short, neck too long... Eh... just don't like it.

But I LOVE that head (minus beard). Loveitloveitloveit. It's about all I can bear to look at though...

I'm no fan of feathered monsters or dinosaurs either, but seriously though, it's a great pic.

Well then Garasharp, you might as well hate all Dinosaurs. They were all born with atleast a small amout of Down.
