This is a ball point drawing of a lean raptoresque Goji.

Fast, mean and lean. Neat! The only thing is that the hip looks a bit odd where the leg joins. Seems the muscles should go on up and attach to the edge of the hip and not have that hollow there.
Like this kinda --

I see you have real good control on the pressure on your pen. At least it looks that way if the fainter lines aren't pencil.
Very well done and welcome to the KAS Lyscoanth.

Thanks, I wasn't sure about the hip-joint choice either. While I was drawing it, I felt it was worth a try. If had done it with pencil first I would have removed the illiac crest entirely. There wasn't much I could do because it was in pen.

The fainter lines aren't pencil. However, there is more smearing than I would like.
Essentialy this is an evolved doodle.

Using my personal rating scale I give you     3/4... out of 5.

I took of a fourth for that wierd hip :o joint... and the funky mouth... other than that I have no major complaints.

Overall very cool! I like the firey-shaped spines. They're much like how I like to draw them...

Absolutely love the technique involved there... exactly how big is the picture?

It was an 8.5x11 piece of paper. The image fits nicely in the center.

In which case I find the level of detail all the more impressive.

I have trouble fitting stuff in the center of the page... don't know why it's so hard for me...

Anyway, quite impressive.

It makes me all the more sad that I can't draw at all right now

Damned artists' block...

Thanks... I had a color version where I fixed the hip. Hmmm... must have been lost in the past chaos.

When I get blocked, I like to pick a monster, any monster and re-design it as many ways as I can think of. Just sketches and doodles and whatever.

It's a fun little exercise

Last time I did this, it was frankenstein. (Well, Frankenstein's Monster.)

My block is not one of inspiration, but rather of talent. I've been having all these great Ideas and I just can't seem to translate them to the page anymore  ...

And all this comes just after I had my big, spacious, architectual drawing board set up in my room too...
