I host them myself on my own computer here in my home.

If you have a DSL or Cable connection and Windows XP then you have everything you need to run your own web server.

You can do it even if you don't have a static IP address.
Just by a domain name from GoDaddy.com for $10.00 and then when your IP address changes all you have to do is update the change on Go daddy and it will remain live.
If you keep your modem on all the time then it won't change that often.
