Godzilla: Ressurection

1st post, Woo! This may be my first post but I've been here for a while.

Heres a script I just started working on for a revival series. Pretty pointless in doing so but I get bored easily.

I'll post updates frequently as I type them up. And it might not be the greatest because I'm only 14 but a huge Kaiju fan!

GODZILLA: RESSURECTION

FADE IN TO:
INT. PACIFIC OCEAN – UNDERWATER – NIGHT
The water begins to bubble as a slowly progressing submarine labeled with on the side with the inscriptions:

#A263

The propellers on the back of the ship twirl rapidly rushing water into a spiral like vortex towards the SCREEN.

CUT IN TO:
EXT. PACIFIC OCEAN – UNDERWATER – SUBMARINE #A263 – NIGHT
TETSUMO sits in front of the control box of the ship. He has a headset with a microphone dangling down in front of his lips, an earphone is wedged past the cartilage and into his right ear. Lights flicker on and off in front of him as he watches through monitor displaying radar. TETSUMO presses the microphone closer towards his lips.

LARRY comes strutting down the tunnel leading into the controller room in the very front of the ship. He holds two cups of coffee in both hands. LARRY’s feet clank loudly as he approaches towards TETSUMO who sits in the chair continuing watching the monitor.

He slumps down next to TETSUMO in the chair next to him. He nods towards the coffee and sets it down on the monitor.

TETSUMO
(In Japanese)
Thank you very much.

TETSUMO reaches towards the coffee as LARRY takes a sip from the lid of his own coffee cup. Suddenly, a beeping noise begins to emerge and come from the monitor. TETSUMO’s eyes widen and he pulls the coffee cup off the monitor.

LARRY and TETSUMO’s eyes widen extremely as they look down on the monitor. An extremely large symbol quickly glides across the monitor.

LARRY
(Amazed)
Good lord! Look at the size of that thing!

TETSUMO spins the chair around throwing his headset off. He stands up. He begins to walk quickly down the corridor. He turns back towards LARRY as he continues to quickly pace down the corridor.

TETSUMO
(In Japanese)
It should hit us from the back, I’ll go see if I can make out what the hell it is.

LARRY nods. He jumps over towards to the chair that TETSUMO just got up from.

LARRY
(In Japanese)
Okay.

TETSUMO begins to quickly charge down the corridor. He quickly turns around the corner.

LARRY presses the microphone onto his lips.

LARRY
(Frantically)
Mayday! Mayday! An extremely large vessel of some sort appears to be heading straight towards the #A263.

After a few seconds waiting for a reply, LARRY spins around in the chair. He peers down the corridor waiting for TETSUMO to return. He quickly spins back after a few moments and looks down at the monitor. The monitor now indicates the figure is right over the ship.

TETSUMO (O.S)
(In Japanese)
Laurence!

LARRY’s eyes widen. Suddenly, an large roar echoes throughout the ship coming from above the ship. LARRY looks up towards the ceiling and then he quickly spins around towards TETSUMO. He jumps up throwing the headset onto the control panel. He begins to slowly walk forward towards TETSUMO who stands motionless at the intersection of Corridor D-1 and Corridor C-4.



LARRY
(Confused)
What the hell is it!?

The roar echoes throughout the corridor again. TETSUMO slowly looks up towards the ceiling and then back down towards LARRY.

TETSUMO
(In Japanese, Quietly)
It’s right above us.

LARRY takes another step towards TETSUMO.

LARRY
Tetsumo.

Suddenly, the walls of corridor D-1 and C-4 completely explodes by a large pair of claws ripping through the metal. The claws rip past TETSUMO pulling him along with the metal. Water rushes into the ship.

LARRY
(Screaming)
Tetsumo!

LARRY quickly spins around and rushes towards the controls. He picks up the headset and holds the microphone to his lips.

LARRY
(Screaming)
Mayday! Mayday! Mayday! Mayday!

Suddenly, the water rushes into LARRY sending him flying forward into the control panel.

CUT IN TO:
BLANK BLACK SCREEN.

Godzilla’s roar echoes throughout the darkness. Suddenly, slowly words begin to FADE onto the BLANK BLACK SCREEN.
