(Just Wanna say it is kind of a rough draft from a while back, it's missing the general chit chat the second draft had, but the second draft is missing, kinda pisses me off, Anyhow...)
Godzilla Rebirth
( My Rant: The problem with the American Godzilla movie was two things. One it was as much Godzilla as a dead whale, and it wasn’t even tailored to what an American audience would want to see. As a rule us Americans don’t give a rats rear about a movie unless there is some sort of fighting. If you are trying to tell us a story about nuclear blah, blah, blah without tossing in some massive monster battle action, I’m afraid you have got a flop on your hands.
Godzilla movies are great and I love them all, but if they want a movie to succeed in the US they are going to need to do a few things. First off slim the monsters down a bit, but keep there appearance basically much same as if there was a guy in a suit, leaner and meaner is what US needs. Then you have to speed up the movement a bit, were impatient and we like our battles fast paced, we want to see monsters rampaging at high speeds knocking buildings over and killing people in there wake, we enjoy this.
Finally they need excellent CG; we like our CG a lot over here and just because it is CG, does not mean it can’t be Godzilla too. We want beams and missiles and flying beasts and all the stuff you would take for granted in a Toho film with Godzilla, just CG.
Lastly, this isn’t real… Don’t try and back up Godzilla with all these facts and theories and stuff. Just go nuts; so long as it has the air of believability you could say he’s a conglomeration of millions of angry green nuclear hamsters. We really won’t care so long as it looks cool and fights other such things we are quite pleased.)
The film opens on two paleontologist out in the field looking over some notes and sketches, the notes and sketches resemble that of a more up right Tyrannosaurus and some sort of off-shoot of the Ankylosaurus family.
Then it flashes to a scene taking place in the air, several fighters are chasing down an unknown jet, they fire off a salvo of missiles damaging it and the unknown plan begins falling toward the ground.
We are now back at the dig site and the two paleontologists are talking, and one says “It seems they were fighting each other when they died…â€

The camera exist the car and shows them coming up along a huge line of tanks and other various attack vehicles. Through the line is a massive gap where there is nothing but scorched land. Allen tells jack to drive into the gap in the battle line, half way through the massive scorch mark are several tents.
Allen: Here’s our stop.
They both get out of the car and Jack follows behind Allen.
Jack: What is this huge scorch mark?
Allen: A nuclear blast from that creature caused it.
Jack Not very happy: And we are in it! Isn’t it radioactive!? What the hell!
Allen: You’d think it would be radioactive, wouldn’t you. Hell you’d think this whole area would be… Funny thing though, it isn’t.
Jack: Still… Why would you set up camp on it?
Allen: That’s General Ellen Corwin; she seems to think that if lightning never strikes the same place twice, this probably won’t either.
Jack: That doesn’t make a whole lot of sense…
Allen: No, it really doesn’t.
Walking up to one of the tents, Allen stops and salutes, the woman turns around and salutes.
Ellen: Who the hell have you brought into the quarantine zone? Explain yourself!
Allen: Sir, I met this man at one of the quarantine check points.
Ellen: So you figured you should bring him here to meet me, is that it?
Allen: No Sir! He has information on the creature.
Ellen looking to Jack: Is this true?
Jack: Yes, it is true.
Ellen looking impatient: Well, do you want an invitation? Should we wait for a better day? Out with it!
Jack: [whispers: Jesus…] Well… You know that plane that went down with the nukes?
Ellen: Yes, I know of it.
Jack: Well just before the explosion I got an E-mail from a paleontologist there who found some new Dinosaurs.
Ellen: That was a dinosaur?
Jack: Perhaps at one point it was. I don’t know what it is now. I think the radiation mutated it, or at least mutated its remaining DNA.
Ellen: Isn’t that a little… far fetched?
Jack: Not compared to a massive dinosaur feeding off the radiation of a recently opened nuclear power plant… Look at the sketch here they made, and the alterations I made.
Jack lays his folder on a table and opens it, laying the Godzillasaurus sketch on the table.
Ellen: That does look a lot like what we saw… I think you may be right… So wait, what is this other one? (She puts her finger on the Angilasaurus sketch)
Jack: That is another new Dinosaur that was found right next to the Godzillasaurus.
Ellen: So we may have two of these to deal with?
Jack: It’s possible.
Ellen: So, what are they both called?
Jack: The Bipedal one is Godzillasaurus and the other is Angilasaurus.
Allen: Damn those are a mouth full.
Ellen: Agreed, Hmm… We’ll just take the saurus off call them Godzilla and Angilas.
Allen: One is enough, now we may have two.
Ellen: Well until we know for sure we will focus are energies on finding and eliminating the Godzilla threat. We already have some ocean based defenses on route; they should be here within the hour. Several of our Subs are out hunting the waters for it as we speak.
Jack: Nuclear subs?
Ellen: Yes.
Jack: Good chance they aren’t the ones doing the hunting.
The camera cuts to the inside of a Sub that is hunting Godzilla.
Sonar: Sir we have something heading north at high speeds, I’d say about 40 nauts.
Captain: Can we get a shot at it?
Sonar: We’ll have to wait for it to pass by our tubes and hope for the best.
Captain: If that’s all we got, that’s all we got.
Captain’s voice over a loud speaker in the Torpedo room: Prepare to fire forward Torpedoes!
Several men begin loading torpedoes into the tubes, the one man talks into the intercom: Captain, Torpedoes are loaded, awaiting your order to fire.
The man at sonar stares at the mass moving around the sub, above, it below it, several times coming very close with the sub.
Sonar (In a hurried tone): Captain, it’s coming around front!
Captain (Yelling into an intercom): Torpedo room, Prepare to fire!
Several seconds pass, you see the Godzilla shaped blip move around to the front of the sonar display, you hear the captains voice: Fire all tubes!
The camera goes to the outside of the sub as two Torpedoes head for the murky form of Godzilla. Perceiving a threat Godzilla dodges the first, the second impacts its right arm causing a cloud of blood to appear in the water. Godzilla stops moving and slowly drifts downward.
Captain is quiet for several seconds then: Sonar, any movement?
Sonar: None sir.
Captain: Very well, Helmsman begin surfacing.
Helmsman: Aye sir, surfacing.
Captain: Send message back to command, we have eliminated the beast.
Runner: Sir, isn’t a bit presumptuous that we have killed it?
Captain: Mind your rank.
Runner: Sir, sorry sir.
You see the sub break surface, a hatch opens and several men emerge from within. They walk to the forward deck of the sub and peer over the side; they see a big cloud of blood in the water. A cheer goes up among the men as they celebrate there victory. Inside the sub men are cheering as well. The man from Sonar turns to look at the display as he is chatting about the ease of victory with another crew member when he sees to his horror a massive creature heading toward the sub from directly beneath.
Sonar over the communications system: ALL HANDS, BRACE FOR IMPACT!
The camera passes by the face of the captain with a look of restrained shock on his face as sonar’s voice is heard over an outside speaker, then the camera pans up into the air to see a dark silhouette under the sub getting progressively larger. The camera goes under water to sea Godzilla swimming up toward the sub, then just before Godzilla breaks the surface the camera is there looking at the sub from the surface of the water.
The water bulges around the sub as Godzilla comes to surface, opening its mouth it takes the sub in its terrible maw hauling it into the air; then crashing back down into the ocean keeping the sub in its jaws grasp. Several crewmen fall off the deck, and into the water. As they float there a loud rumbling from beneath them is heard, then the water all around them explodes and you can see a massive shockwave ripple out from were the sub was. Then, you can see beneath the foam, a light blue glow emanating from deep in the water. Godzilla had fed again.
Elsewhere several military teams were investigating a massive hole that appeared during the night. The news was being kept out, though they were around the massive hole that was found by a hiker. From within the game screeches and movement could be heard, no one was sure what was up but after the even at the power plant the military were being very careful not to do anything that something may deem aggressive.
Military Man1: So, you found this massive hole where your tent was your saying?
Hiker: Yea, I went out for a hike like 3 hours ago. When I came back this was what I found. So I called the cops, and the cops called you, and here we are.
Military Man1: Did you hear or feel anything?
Hiker: I heard some loud sounds, and felt some shaking… I just figured it was a tremor.
Military Man1: Very well. You are free to go.
Hiker: Okay, thanks… Can I ask, what’s going on?
Military Man1: That’s classified… well… it would be if we knew.
Hiker: Okay… well, later.
The Hiker starts walking away and from a distance you see the press engulf him like piranhas on fresh meat. Several spot lights are set up to look down into the massive hole, looking in they see that it is pretty steady angle for quite a ways, one of the military trucks with a spot light mounted on the back pulls up and starts down. The man on the back aiming the light shines it up at the ceiling, across the ceiling it seems as if hundreds of spikes raked across it the whole way down.
Nearing the bottom the spot light is aimed directly down the hole where they catch a glimpse of something moving, continuing to shine the light it passes over something that reflects back, like a cats eye would at night. The creature roars and turns toward the mouth of the cave, quickly the truck hits the gas and spins around and heads up out of the cave. On the outside they heard the roar and feel the rumbling.
Military Man2 yells: Pull back!!!
All the tanks and vehicles begin pulling away from the hole; the truck with the spot light comes flying out of the hole, past the tanks and military vehicles and continues 200 or more feet away from the hole before stopping and getting out and looking back toward the hole. Coming out of the hole was a massive creature, an armored back covered in spikes, it had a terrible cry and it came out in a rage. The men in the spot light truck got back in and kept going.
Military Man2 looking at a sheet of paper: So the other one exists, damn it!
Military Man2 over a megaphone on a truck he was near: Everyone, Pull out, Retreat!
Angilas opened its mouth and roared; several barrels fell from it and smashed on the ground below. As one of the tanks rolls away a barrel falls on it and some sludge splatters out of it, the barrel was clearly marked as radioactive. Angilas had dug a hole to radioactive waste and was feeding, they had disturbed its dinner and it was not pleased.
Angilas stood on its hind legs and sniffed the air; a wind blew out from San Francisco and carried the scent out to toward Angilas. Angilas sniffed the ground around where the tanks were, and then it stood back up and looks out toward San Fran. It hit the ground running toward the city.
The camera is now facing a radio inside of a vehicle; over the radio a panicked voice begins speaking: We found the other one, Repeat we have found Angilas! It is heading toward San Francisco now! Its moving fast, it will be there very soon!
Ellen: You heard him, now we have the other one to deal with.
Man on Radio: It’s traveling North West toward the San Francisco; it will hit the bridge between San Mateo and Baumberg within the next hour to two hours.
Ellen: We don’t have a lot of time. Allen, Jack, any Ideas?
Allen: None.
Jack: Me either, I do think were screwed though.
Ellen: Great…
Jack: Well, maybe they’ll fight.
Allen: Yea; or they might team up.
Ellen: That isn’t a pleasant thought.
The camera goes outside the vehicle which is a military Hummer. Its driving at high speeds down a high way, looking out you can see a rather long bridge crossing over some water. As the camera turns, further out you can see something large heading this way.
The camera fades to the hummer pulling up alongside some tanks. Ellen, Allen, and Jack get out.
Ellen walks up to an officer looking out toward Angilas: Report Soldier.
Soldier1: Sir, were going to die, sir.
Jack whispers behind Ellen’s back to Allen: I like this guy.
Allen whispers back: You would.
Ellen: Now that you’re done having your fun, how about the real situation!
Soldier1: Sir, Sorry sir. Angilas is heading into our little surprise here. Honestly though, our chances are slim that this will work.
Ellen: I didn’t ask your opinion. Who is in command here?
Soldier1: Admiral Walter Murrell Sir.
Ellen: Take me to him.
Soldier1: Of course, follow me.
The Trio followed the soldier up to a tank with an old man looking out the hatch with a pair of binoculars.
Ellen: Admiral?
Admiral continuing to tack Angilas with is binoculars: Who are you and what the hell do you want?
Ellen: Sir, General Ellen Corwin, I’d like to know the status of the situation.
Admiral glancing over briefly at Ellen: We have mined the water between the two sides and we have set up thousands of missile sites along the channel. Plan it will take the path of least resistance through the water. Then we blast the thing to bits.

Jack: Blasting the other one didn’t work, why would it work on this one?
Walter glares at Jack: Why should I answer any of your questions, you aren’t even military personnel. In fact, get the hell out of here, NOW! Someone get him out of here.
Ellen and Allen follow Jack as he is escorted out of the general vicinity of the battle area.
Jack: So you guys staying here?
Ellen: I wasn’t ordered too, so I’m not. I don’t think this will work anyhow.
Allen: I agree, this place is a death trap, let’s go.
The all pile into the Hummer and head back toward San Francisco to orchestrate some sort of defense for the city. Traveling at high speeds toward the city as everyone was trying to leave it and no one was trying to enter.
Back at the bridge Angilas entered the water and he began walking toward the trap by the bridge. Hundreds missile sites were lined up along the shore and some on the bridge. Angilas moving along encountered the first of the mines; mines blew in its face and around its body but it didn’t seem very fazed. Angilas continued on toward the bridge with explosions bursting out from the water all around it.
Back in San Francisco, by the shore near the power plant a great commotion was occurring, Godzilla was spotted heading toward the city. Several battleships lined up in defense of the shore and a few destroyers were out further as the first line.
Godzilla approaches at high speeds, spines tearing through the water like a sharks fin. Godzilla puts down its feet in the now shallow enough water to stand and its spine flare up with energy and Godzilla lets out a nuclear beam and wastes several destroyers.
The battleships begin firing at Godzilla, the camera pans up Godzilla’s body as shells pounded into him. By all signs it seemed Godzilla was never hurt at all, no scars, scabs, or wounds were visible. It was entirely healed.
Godzilla moves toward the firing Battleships and grabs one of them and pushes it into the ground beneath the water causing an explosion below the waters surface. Godzilla then turns and smacks 3 of the Battleships with its tail, severely damaging 2 and flipping one. The bombardment weakened enough that it was no longer a bother Godzilla passed by the remaining ships and into the city proper, heading toward Angilas.
Angilas at that time was passing through a massive barrage of missiles, thousands of missiles soared through the air crashing against Angilas. Roaring in rage, it turned its back to the bridge, then in a sudden move launched it self into the air crashing through the bridge and splashing into the water. Angilas rolled over began sprinting toward San Francisco as a few missiles followed and hit. Leaving the last of the mine field Angilas was able to run uninterrupted straight into San Fran.
Hummer Radio: Bridge defense failed! Angilas is going to reach San Francisco!
Ellen angry: Fantastic!
Hummer Radio: Godzilla is entering San Francisco, its tearing it apart!
Ellen: I don’t know what we can do.
Jack: Hopefully the City isn’t wiped from the planet…
Allen: Yea, I can’t see how it won’t be.
Ellen: Well, before we left I got authorization to use some secret weapons we have been saving. We have some rather large Laser Tanks. They may be able to pack a good punch on one of them.
Jack: Wow, laser tanks… I thought that wasn’t quite possible yet.
Ellen: Yea they have been around for a few years now, these happen to be the MK3’s the latest, strongest models.
Allen: Well hopefully they are strong enough.
Godzilla is in San Francisco tearing down buildings with its claws and tail. Its spines flare up blue and a massive beam of nuclear energy shoots from its mouth and it blows away several buildings with it. Out in the distance the cry of Angilas is heard and Godzilla stops its rampage, it looks out towards the sound and replies with its own horrific roar.
The two titans make haste to one another, finally meeting face to face after millions of years, the old instincts return. This creature should die the other one thinks. Long gone are reasons why, not for food, nor for territory, they just know the other should die.
Sizing each other up, they circle toppling buildings and crushing cars as if they were nothing. Angilas reared up onto its hind legs and prepared to fight. Godzilla is the first to strike, grabbing a piece of a building and lobbing it at Angilas.
Angilas turns and faces his back and falls to all fours, the debris crashing against its hard shell, it then launches it self at Godzilla impaling it with its many spikes and sending it falling into several buildings.
Godzilla rolls and Angilas’ spikes slip out it falls off, slipping back over it tries it again, aiming it self at Godzilla, foreseeing the attack Godzilla jumps to the side and lets off a nuclear burst into Angilas expose abdomen. Angilas screeches in pain as the burst burns flesh.
Enraged Angilas stands and charges Godzilla, knocking him back and through a few buildings. Godzilla begins pummeling the head of Angilas, clawing it its face. Angilas uses its strength and clubs Godzilla in the head with its powerful arm sending Godzilla to the ground. Godzilla looks up at Angilas and his spines glow; he lets off his nuclear breath and hits Angilas in the right shoulder toppling him backwards and into some buildings, the beam continues on a bit blowing a whole through one of the taller buildings. Godzilla stands and let’s loose a triumphant roar.
Angilas gets onto all fours but collapses to his front right due to pain, using its left arm it pushes it self up and back onto its hind legs. It heads toward Godzilla somewhat more cautiously then previously, Godzilla’s spines glow with energy as Angilas approaches, Godzilla fires off his nuclear breath, quickly though Angilas turns around and blocks it with his strong carapace. The blast goes strong and blasts away several of Angilas’ spikes before Godzilla needs to stop and catch its breath. Angilas turns and runs at Godzilla and decks him with his good arm, Godzilla seemed to topple again but turned it around and swept Angilas off its feet with his tail, Angilas comes crashing onto its bad arm causing it extreme pain.
The bridge the hummer was on Arched higher then the rest of the road and they were able to see from the hummer a clear view of the battle taking place.
The three of them got out of the care and watched intently as the two fought.
Jack: So who you guys betting on?
Allen: Angilas.
Ellen after a slight hesitation: If I had to choose, I’d think Godzilla.
Angilas struggled to its feet, backed away from Godzilla and turned its carapace to face him. Dropping to 3 legs Angilas launches it self at the rising Godzilla, however Godzilla fires off a quick Nuclear Burst which stops Angilas dead in its tracks dropping it to the ground.
Angilas weak and injured lay there, Godzilla comes over and kicks the armored beast onto its back, it charged up its breath and let it loose on the stomach of Angilas, burning a gaping hole into its lower right side.
Ellen heads back to the hummer and grabs the mike for the radio: Move the MK3’s into position Target Godzilla.
Angilas flipped its powerful clubbed tail up at Godzilla’s back knocking the leviathan over. Angilas in great pain rolled onto its stomach and as fast as 3 legs could take him, ran away. Angilas was breaking water as Godzilla stood, its fins began to glow brighter then ever, it dropped down on all fours, it pointed its mouth at Angilas and a massive blue beam burst from the mouth of Godzilla, Godzilla was pushed backwards by the force his claws digging in trying to hold ground. Buildings between Angilas and Godzilla were blows into nothingness. The Transamerica Pyramid’s center was cut through by the beam, and it fell down on it self disintegrating into the powerful beam.
Angilas turned its armored shell toward the blast, thinking a similar result as before would occur. The blast collided with Angilas who was only able to hold its ground for several seconds before the raw power sent it careening through the air at the head of the beam, its carapace disintegrated into nothing more then bone and spikes. The beam cut off and Angilas crashed into the water and sank below the surface.
Ellen over the radio: Fire!
Godzilla roared in victory. Victory it would not enjoy long, lasers from several points converged on the beast causing him great distress. The lasers tore flesh and cut into the monsters thick hide. Godzilla let off several short breath attacks at several areas near the laser origins, but none hit a laser tank, Godzilla charged up and shot out his cunclear breath and blasted all around him blowing up countless things and a few MK3’s. Godzilla contented went back to the ocean and swam off.
Ellen: Well… its over… for the moment…
Jack looking out toward the city: Look at the damage… The city it’s destroyed…
Allen: I doubt this is the last of it.
Ellen: so Jack, what do you intend to do now?
Jack: Not sure, good chance my home was destroyed in all that… Hardly seems important though.
The ending theme to the Godzilla movies plays as Godzilla slowly walks into the water. After a few moments the music speeds up and gets a more frantic pace to it as time begins to speed up.
The camera flies over to where Angilas died and it goes beneath the surface, time is sped up as days pass and something is built around the corpse of the beast. News headlines flash across the screen with titles “Godzilla Strikes Again!â€

GDF Head: I believe you know him, Allen Bryant. He was chosen due to being one of the few people we had who had actually seen the things fight and didn’t die. He knows how they fight as well as either of you, but you’re a general and he’s a civilian… of sorts. Also, most importantly he grasped the technology quickly, faster then we had thought possible.
Ellen: So what’s the plan?
GDF Head: You are going to the Nuclear Plant where all this began, your going to crank up the power till it’s near critical. When Godzilla arrives you activate and emergency shut down and get the hell out of dodge.
Jack: So when do we leave?
GDF Head: You aren’t leaving. We have need of you; we have an assignment that takes greater priority… Call it a contingency plan… for now.
Ellen: Very well, then when do I head out?
GDF Head: We will give you the rest of today to secure your escape route from the building and to safety, tomorrow at noon we want you to go ahead with the plan, Dismissed… and good luck.
Ellen Saluting: Sir, thank you.
Ellen walks out of the room and down a hall.
Jack: So what do you have in store for me?
GDF Head: Some intense training and exercise, and a lot of work on the contingency plan. All highest level top secret stuff, not a word is to be spoken to anyone.
Jack: Alright, let’s get to it.
The GDF Head leads Jack through a door labeled M.O.G.U.E.R.A. from behind the door you hear jacks voice: “Wow…â€
