GODZILLA: The Revised Series

There was mention of this project over in the temporary Rodan's Roost forum but here is the premise:
If the original plot for the U.S. Godzilla movie had made it to the big screen, what do you think the inevitable animated series would have been like?
A has been established to explore this interesting "what if" and contains about six month's worth of ideas that came up on the Roost in a SINGLE discussion thread. The new location should permit even further development and inspiration in a familiar yet new universe.
