[i]A sickening crunch followed by a warm sticky shower that splashed across her body awoke her to a sight that would never be erased from her sight. Her father was reaching and pleading for her to save him from the horror that had gripped him in its teeth. Wide eyes spread open in disbelief as she witnessed her father get bitten once, twice and then vanish down the throat of a serpent that had eaten him. The creature roared triumphantly into the night and released a long low growl as it continued to swallow its meal down. After a few scant moments the creature turned towards Kiyo and lowered its head close to Kiyo. Clawing the grass in a vain attempt to try and back away from the monster before her, Kiyo let out a cry to try and ward off the bite that was sure to come. After feeling and smelling the monster’s breath for what seemed to be an eternity, she opened her eyes and saw that she was mere inches away from the creature’s mouth. Her heart pounded hard as she watched its tongue slide out from between its lips and lightly lick face and arms. The creature wasn’t trying to eat her, but oddly enough it seemed to be cleaning her.

“No worries. Manda will not harm you.â€

Dimas continued to do the most deeming of tasks assigned by the ship’s Captain as he kept dreaming big of a lavious lifestyle he have from the riches he would earn on these voyages. He would never pay any mind to the older sailors on board who continually mocked him or his fanciful dreams. All they cared about in Dimas’ eyes was wenching and drunkard ness in each successive port that they would reach along the way. Dimas had bigger dreams with his life. However it would be dreams he would never see fulfilled.

In sight of a small island called Jomonshima, Dimas now laid curled up on the deck of his ship clutching his hands over his ears as hard as he could to drown out the high pitch whistle that steadily grew louder and louder until his ears burst. With his world now gone silent Dimas looked up into the starry night sky and saw the shadow of an enormous flying creature descending down upon the ship and him. He barely had time to scream as the world exploded into a fury of splintering wood, fire, and water when the creature plowed through the deck of the ship and cut it in twain. As his life faded away beneath the churning waters, Dimas eyes focused upon the dark shadow turning back up from the depths and headed straight towards him. The creature passed close by him and time stood still as the two locked eyes for what seemed to be an eternity. Dimas’ last living thought was a soft whispered word in the back of his mind.

The word was Rodan.

Tensions begin to rise in the spirit and real world as the role of protector and avenger become blurred and possibly perverted.

Chapter Two - November 3rd 2008

His heart breaking as it filled with joy the God, Tsukuyomi kissed his daughter and transformed her into a beautiful moth with the power to defeat Gigan. He then renamed her …Mosura. Hisao and her together defeated Gigan and sent his carcass to the black depths of the ocean where he was to remain forever. Tsukuyomi thanked Hisao once again and blessed him with the power to now call upon all the creatures of the Gods to aide him in future battles. Hisao tested his power and summoned forth a giant serpent from the sea and he named the creature Manda taking it as his personal companion. Not wanting to leave his daughter alone Tsukuyomi removed another piece of his flesh and created another young girl in the image of Amaterasu. He gave her the name Elia and created an island for both her and Mosura to live upon far away from the world of man. Her and her people in time would grow into legend and would become know as the Elias.
