Best Fanfic ever...

I'm asking for the best fanfic ever.
I read it somewhere (unfortunately can't remember), but it was about a guy with AIDS who gets an experimental treatment utilizing G-cells (!) to heal him. It had characters you actually care about, and was incredibly original. Not just another "Godzilla vs. Old fan fave monster" fanfic. It was very professional. At the risk of sounding soft, it was the only fanfic (Goji or otherwise) that really made me go "wow" with emotional impact. It's simultaneously tragic, inspiring, and uh...a bunch of other good crap.
