TEARS OF DEATH

A lone hiker traveled among the cold, barren snow covered tops of a mountain in the Himalayas. He was a regular in the area, but this time he felt something... bad. The air was, as it had always been, bitter cold, however it seemed to be heavier than usual. It was so heavy that he slowed, and he stopped. A noise rang in his ear. A bitter noise. A sharp, painful, undescribable noise. He stood up to the shining sun, beating down upon his face, it did not, however, warm his skin. His skin was only warmed by tears rolling down his face. He lifted his arm to wipe them off. He looked upon his glove and found, not nears, but blood. Blood rolled down his face and onto the frozen surface. With barely any struggle, he collapsed to the snow. The painful noise stopped. In it’s place was a calm feeling, a relaxing warm sound. He saw not the sun, but eight black eyes staring into his frightened soul. Eight black eyes to order him. He got up, and looked upon the horizon to a setting sun. Soon darkness would dominate the sky...

And lo, the Heavens shall rain down upon the Earth,
Tears of death

-written by a 16th Century Franciscan monk, diagnosed with insanity, and dying within a chamber, half crazed. It’s meaning is unknown to this day.

Colin walked among the archives of the old military records. He happened to find something quite intriguing. In 1946, during a series of H-Bomb tests near the Japanese island of Huroto, two government fleets were declared missing. They turned up two weeks later, mangled beyond identification, and half burnt. The government could not release any information to the press, and the remains of the ships were stored in a top-secret military vault. That’s all that could be found about the subject. He knew just what he had gotten himself into, and it scared him. Dabora was all over the news. "CAN DABORA BE STOPPED?!" "DABORA: WHAT IS IT?" This the kind of headlines that now dominated the newspapers, both tabloid and serious. Colin just wished he could tell the world his secret, but what would it cost him? Colin was always hounded by his apartment roomate, George, about that fateful night. "You really were almost crushed?!" George would ask exitetly like a young kid. "Ya, I was" Colin would reply quite agitaed. George found that immensly cool. "Damn, I should have been there!" He would also proclaim. Colin didn't get him, "Be glad you wernen't" Colin would just reply. "By the way, don't you have enough cash to get your OWN apartment?!" , "Well, I've still got some things to pull off," George was quite lazy. He had been rooming with Colin for three years. Colin didn't really mind though, he had someone to at least talk to. "So, do you think they'll kill that thing?" George asked. Colin didn't know what to say. "Maybe..." Was all Colin could answer. George exitedly interrupted. "Hey, the U.N.S.D.F! WHat are they doing about this?" Colin could answer that. "Well, we are doing whatever we can to locate him-" Before he could go any further, George interupted, "Man, I bet with that cool-ass sonar equipment crap, you really need to show me around that place!" Colin hesitated "I don't think you would find the U.U.S.D.F headquarters THAT interesting, especially the bio department" "Aw, come on!" argued George, as he always did. "Maybe some time next week, when were not that busy with bussiness", George got quite exited "Sweet!". In fact the headquarters were quite busy, the military had set the UNSDF two goals- 1. Find Dabora, and 2. Destroy him.
