Chpt8

The Zigran ship was approached by Japanese jet fighters when it was heading to Japan. The men and the Zigran saw them on a view screen. “What do we do?! We’ll be attacked,” screamed Shinji. Zigra said to Toshio, “Speak, order them not to attack.” Toshio shouted, “How?! They can’t hear me!” Zigra repeated, “Do it!” Toshio shrugged and said aloud,” Don’t attack, this is Toshio Sakurai, leader of the JSDF. Escort us to the nearest landing site in Japan.” And to Toshio’s surprise he heard an answer,” Sir? That’s you? What are you doing aboard that?!” “Never mind! Just take us home!” cried Toshio. “Affirmative,” said the jets. Shinji and Hayato were also puzzled, but they were happily surprised with this.

After a ten minutes of meeting the planes, the Zigran ship arrived at an airport. Many of the passengers and employees were shocked at this spaceship touching down at the airport. The ship released a beam and the three men were now out on the runaway, as the ship lifted off again. It headed back in the direction of the sea.

Then about twenty minutes later, a plane carrying the Prime Minister and his cabinet arrived to meet with Toshio and asked about the ship and what was going on. Toshio merely stated that,” We must get ready.”

Meanwhile in the Sea of Japan…

A patrol boat’s crew was observing the sunset out of lack of boredom. All the action seemed to be happening on land. The captain was alarmed of Guirion’s attack and the invasion of the Virians, but he could do nothing for he was stuck out on this ship. He sighed and looked out on the evening horizon. He spied something that was moving through the water like a torpedo. He grabbed his binoculars and gasped at what he saw. It was Jiger with a Barugon that was now half her size, upon her back. The captain was about to fire, but Jiger zoomed past the boat too quickly. The captain blinked and looked at his empty bottle of sake and passed it off as a hallucination due to overdrinking.

Meanwhile in Kyoto…

MekaGamera had landed in the middle of the city. The planes that attacked it, had no affected it and it was going to enact its masters’ revenge on this city. It began to fire missiles out of its shoulder ports that slammed into buildings and exploded into a pyre of flame and debris. The MekaGamera turned its attention to a fleeing crowd and fired its radioactive flamethrower from its mouth at them, charring and burning them alive.
This was the beginning of the Kyoto rampage.
But just then, Gamera arrived on the scene and it bellowed out a challenge to its metallic double. The kaiju turtle landed two blocks away from the mecha. The machine just stood there, before roaring back and targeted Gamera with its weapons.

Chpt9

Toshio ordered Obata to construct an EMP bomb to use on the Virians and their machines. He also was getting Shinji and Hayato ready to go out with a unit of soldiers to attack the Virian ship while its defenses were down. He looked down and tried to remember what all had to be done. He already ordered no soldiers to fire on Zigra, Gamera, Jiger, or Barugon if they appear. He already had APC’s ready for the departure of soldiers. He just had to leave for the garage and move out.

As he arrived at the garage, he saw Shinji and Hayato in combat gear that consisted of wet suits with a type of bullet-proof substance added to the suits, goggles, and a respirator to breathe in the lake when they storm the Virian vessel. He saluted and they returned it. “Fearless leader we have yet to find moose and squirrel, “joked Shinji, who adored old American cartoons and liked to joke around with Toshio about such things. Hayato jabbed him in the ribs with his elbow to make him shut up,” We and the others are ready.” Toshio nodded. He knew Obata was almost done with the EMP bomb and that the transport carrying it would rendezvous with his soldiers and himself near the lake. He ordered with a stern voice for his soldiers to board the APC’s and he jumped on one too, and told everyone to “Move out!”

In Kyoto…

Gamera bellowed again at his metal foe, moving closely very carefully. The MekaGamera watched him ever so carefully. Then Gamera ran at the MekaGamera, slamming into it with a powerful tackle. The MekaGamera dug its metal claws into the back of Gamera’s shell, drawing a bit of green blood. Gamera released a cry of pain, and kicked the MekaGamera’s forcing himself free. Gamera was surprised when the MekaGamera used its radioactive oral flames on him again, why couldn’t he absorb them? MekaGamera opened its shoulder ports and launched several missiles at Gamera. Gamera ducked behind a building but only two missiles hit the underside of his shell, drawing a small amount of blood from the wounds formed by these special space missiles.

The MekaGamera’s chest opened to show a strange, orange gem that began to glow an eerie bright light. Gamera blinked and looked at the gem, then as he stared at it in awe, it fired a yellow beam of plasma at him. The beam struck the building, puncturing a hole in it as it melted its internal structural components, while Gamera steered to the side again. It hit Gamera’s shell, even though most of the beam’s power was used on the building, it still left a burned hole on the front of Gamera’s shell. Gamera gave a howling cry of pain, as he fumbled about, getting himself in MekaGamera’s sights for attack.

MekaGamera fired another barrage of missiles at Gamera, striking the back of his shell, blasting pieces of bony shell and bits of his flesh from his body. Gamera could not stand the pain, but he turned and fired his flamethrower breath at MekaGamera’s head. The machine stopped its attack and the metal began to heat up, but MekaGamera came to close to the kaiju turtle. It struck Gamera in the stomach with its metallic fist, but Gamera’s shell absorbed most of the shock. Gamera used his clawed hand to grab MekaGamera’s arm and twisted it with all his might. The metal squealed and groaned, and MekaGamera tried to claw Gamera again with its free arm, but Gamera grabbed it too. Gamera was twisting both arms with his strength, and MekaGamera was about to use its radioactive flame breath, but gamera used his jaws to clamp down on the jaws of the Mekagamera. The left arm seemed to break, but Gamera felted a sharp, burning pain in its abdomen. The beam of MekaGamera was fired through his midsection. Gamera cried out and fell backwards with the hole in his midsection oozing blood.

Gamera knew it was all over. He was doomed, even if one of MekaGamera’s arms was broken. Then the kaiju turtle heard two familiar calls. Two foes were joining, but he seemed calm because their presence wasn’t full of malice. MekaGamera turned its head and seemed to be looking for something, before several saliva missiles struck it, shattering against its metal exterior. The saliva spears though, still left small holes were they hit. MekaGamera blasted some missiles into the city, leveling several buildings, but Jiger and Barugon, who was now almost fully grown, had arrived in full force. Gamera was surprised. These two were dead! But what’s even stranger, they showed no malice toward him. What happened next was even more surprising.

Barugon looked at Gamera and gave its hissing call, before firing its rainbow beam that hit Gamera. Gamera’s fleeting life was being restored by the heat energy by Barugon’s death rainbow. Gamera’s wound stopped bleeding and started to close up a bit and heal. Jiger moved toward MekaGamera during this and bellowed a challenge to the machine. MekaGamera fired its radioactive flamethrower at the enemy and jigger leapt backward. She gave her cry again and rammed herself into MekaGamera with the help of her rocket gills. The shock ripped MekaGamera’s damaged arm off its body. The arm still dangled by wires and chords that attached it to the body. Jiger bellowed at the robot, and then Jiger noticed something. The arm was being reattached by small wires that were linking themselves to the arm and the wires and cables attached were trying to pull the arm back to the elbow.

Barugon used another death rainbow to revitalize Gamera to the point where just a small, partially healed hole remained on his underside. Gamera staggered to his feet and was watching MekaGamera’s arm reattach while Jiger blasted at the diabolical machine with her forehead ray. It burned and charred the head of MekaGamera, but nothing more. Then MekaGamera unleashed a salvo of missiles onto Jiger. Jiger cried out in pain as they exploded against her hide, tearing off pieces of flesh and spewing small fountains of blood. Then the gem was revealed in MekaGamera’s underside. Barugon had a feeling of what would happen and took a stance where he could fire his rainbow. The creature’s spines brightly glowed with a prismatic that was released in the form of a rainbow. MekaGamera fired its beam right toward Jiger as she lay on her side, wounded but not severely. The beams met and exploded in a mighty explosion that forced Jiger to roll over before she grabbed onto a building to stop her rolling, while MekaGamera qas forced backwards, trying to keep balance. Jiger looked at MekaGamera and used her magnetic powers to pick up vehicles that littered the battlefield and throw them at MekaGamera. MekaGamera was pelted by cars, vans, and one gasoline truck that exploded against its chest and engulfed the robot in flames. Barugon gave a cry and its long tongue stuck out and it released a freezing mist at the robot. It put out the fire, but also seemed to freeze the robot where it couldn’t move. Barugon charged at the mecha and used its tongue as a battering ram against its body. The ice broke and MekGamera seemed to be back online. Then MekaGamera used its oral flamethrower to ward off Barugon before it took off in retreat.

Gamera looked at his allies surprised. He concentrated on trying to heal what was left of his injury. He bellowed to Jiger and Barugon that he was heading to sea, for a short healing period. Then the turtle went into saucer mode and left. The other two kaiju looked at each other and started heading in the direction of the Virian ship.


Chpt10

The forces under Toshio’s command had been at the lake for forty-five minutes in preparation for the attack on the Virians. This operation was too dangerous for the leader of the JSDF to go do, so Hayato was in command of Shinji and the other three soldiers who would infiltrate the ship. There was tension in the air, as the full moon shown over the lake on this very quiet night. It was so hard to believe such an evil thing was in the lake.

The artillery piece fitted with the small rocket-shaped shell was being aimed at the air above the lake. Toshio ordered the soldiers in their wet suits to get ready to jump into the lake. He watched his watch and signaled the shell to be launched. The cannon shot the shell directly into the air above the lake. It descended in the air and then released an explosion that seemed to distort the air and disappeared. The soldiers jumped into the lake for their invasion attempt. The shell was detonated too far away from the military encampment to ruin their equipment, but the Virians should have their machinery messed up.

Hayato and his men swam deeper into the lake, looking for the Virian ship. They spied the MekaGamera at the bottom. It arrived here ten minutes before they did, and seemed immobile. Hayato signaled the troops to swim deeper while he was in front.
The troops say the Virian space craft-yellow and black orbs of it sticking out the most to everyone’s attention. They swam deeper into the murky depths of the lake, until they came to one of the immense orb-like parts of the ship.

One troop found a sealed metal door and Hayato nodded to him to place a C4 charge on it. The men got away as the charge blew open the door. The men swam into a flooding hall with a blinking green alarm light before an emergency metal seal, sealed off their entrance. They were in.

Meanwhile in the Sea…

Zigra slipped into the cool waters of the Pacific. He knew that this was needed to join the battle. The water had a strange reaction with his body. He felt dizzy and felt sick, then he began to grow. He knew this would happen and he was counting on it. His body kept growing and then it stopped. He noticed he was now the size of the other kaiju.

With that, he sped through the water. He launched himself into the sky and used his fins as makeshift wings. He was heading for the battle that was about to begin, and he didn’t want to get there too late.
