*BUMP* reminder... and showtimes:

Fri Nov 5 2004 8:30PM Godzilla (1954) (subtitled)
Sat Nov 6 2004 2:00PM King Kong vs Godzilla (US version, English dubbed)
Sat Nov 6 2004 8:45PM Godzilla: Tokyo SOS (subtitled I assume)
Sun Nov 7 2004 4:00PM Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah (1991) (subbed? dubbed? just says NEW 35MM PRINT)
Sun Nov 7 2004 6:30PM Godzilla (1954) (subtitled)
Tue Nov 9 2004 6:30PM Destroy All Monsters (English dubbed)

all screenings at:
Jackman Hall
Art Gallery of Ontario
317 Dundas Street West
Toronto, ON M5T 1G4

i wish the site was clear on whether some of these are subbed or dubbed. however they seem to make a point of mentioning english dubbed, so i hope the GvKG is subtitled! i've only ever seen it dubbed!

also i'm assuming that G54 is toho's international print, not rialto's, since rialto doesn't have distribution rights in canada.

DUDE! I saw you! Looking at that pic I remember you already....damn, I should of said hello. Im most likely returning for King Ghidorah and DAM so I'll see ya next time hopefully. :)

Seeing SOS last night reminded me of just how Godzilla films were ment to be seen, in a theatre, they're really is nothing like it.

This was the first time I saw SOS subbed, they were very abreiveated to say the least. Kiryu only being referd to as mecha godzilla or "mecha-g", making the diouloge seem kinda impersonal, but atleast I got a better idea of what was said betwen the characters.

That being said, my initial review of SOS back when I first saw the film...was alittle generous. Never the less, Tokyo SOS is a good Godzilla film and I find it a vast impovement over GxMG.

I should be returning tonight to see Godzilla vs King Ghidorah on the big screen, then DAM on tuesday.

This year has been exciteing to be a G fan.

I was there last night! It was great seeing GMMG in a theater atmosphere. I may be there for DAM on Tuesday. My work is pretty close by. Though, I won't be ordering tickets in advance so it way be sold out.
